Muse: 'We Wont Release New Album Like Radiohead'

Muse drummer Dominic Howard says that the band won’t follow Radiohead and allow fans to name what price they pay for their next album.

The band are currently recording the as-yet-untitled long player in their studio in Italy.

In a break from recording, Howard told the BBC that he thought the way Radiohead released ‘In Rainbows’ was interesting”.

“It's great because the concept of releasing music or an album changes every month, it's evolving so quickly," he said.

"Everyone is plucking ideas out of the sky and any band can decide how they release an album. It's all good, I'm all for it."

Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ went on to top the charts in the UK and American when it was released officially at the beginning of the year.

Earlier this week Howard said it was too early to describe how the bands news album would sound but said he was “really excited about it”.
